We’re so grateful you’re joining us — here’s everything you’ll need to make the most of the day⇩

Two hearts, one beautiful journey...

It all began one summer afternoon at Mona Vale Beach, seven years ago. I was swimming with my daughter, Rhea, when a super happy guy with the brightest smile swam up to us and called out, “こんにちはー!日本人ですか? (Hi! Are you Japanese?)”

Rhea said, “Oh! That’s Marley’s dad!” — the girls knew each other from the same school choir.

We didn’t get to exchange contact details that day, but the universe had other plans. Even though we lived just a minute apart, it took almost a month before we ran into each other again on the beach. This time, Justin made sure to get my number!

Our first coffee date at the Mona Vale Beach Café on February 22, 2018 marked the start of something that felt truly meant to be. Since then, we’ve shared joy, laughter, and challenges that have helped us grow stronger — both as individuals and as a couple.

This wedding isn’t just a celebration of our love, but of all those who have been part of our story.

That means you. 🤍

👗 Semi-formal or Cocktail Attire

🤍 It’s predicted to be a hot day on Sunday, and the walk up from Bells Wharf to the venue is uphill. We suggest dressing light, wearing comfortable shoes, and you’re more than welcome to use one of the rooms to get changed if needed.

Travel

If you are catching ferry, We'd recommend to catch 11:30am ferry from Churchpoint, which get you to Bells Wharf at 11:35. then slowly walk up to the venue, as walking uphill can be a little challenging. So please take your time! (FYI, next one is at 12:30)

Water taxi would be a good option too, as if you share with others it might work out cheaper.

Ferry

Regular ferry services run from Church Point Wharf — please hop off at Bells Wharf.

(Check the timetable below for departure times.)

Water Taxi

You can also take a water taxi, which might be more convenient or cost-effective if you’re coming as a group.

Parking

Council parking at Church Point can get quite busy, especially on summer weekends.

You may also consider parking in Mona Vale and carpooling to Church Point, or taking the 156 bus from Mona Vale to Church Point.

Public transport

From Sydney CBD, catch the B-Line from Wynyard Street to Mona Vale, then transfer to the 156 bus to Church Point.

Q & A

Do you have a regisry?

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift, and celebrating together means everything to us.

For those who have kindly asked about gifting, we don’t have a traditional registry — anything thoughtfully chosen by you would be so appreciated.

If you would prefer, you’re also welcome to contribute to helping us plant more trees to attract bees and grow our garden here at home. 🌿

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invitation to see if a +1 has been included.

Are kids welcome?

We adore children, but we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. We’ll have our dogs around (who can be a bit unpredictable with little ones) and alcohol served throughout the day — we’d love for everyone to relax and enjoy without worry. 🤍

What will the weather be like?

It is predicted to be a little hot day with a chance of rain in the afternoon. walking up the hill can make you feel hot, so it might be a good idea to bring your outfit and get changed once you arrive. We want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed before the celebration begins.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so you don’t miss a moment of the ceremony.

You’re also more than welcome to come earlier if you’d like to freshen up or get ready at the venue.

What should I wear?

Dress to celebrate! Semi-formal or cocktail attire is perfect. Since it’s summer, breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes are a good idea.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will be held at our home, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Ladies, a friendly heads-up — please avoid stiletto heels!

There are grassy and uneven areas, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy sandals instead. We’d hate for anyone to ruin their shoes (or twist an ankle!).

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Yes, please do! We’d love for you to capture the moments and share them on Instagram using our hashtag #JKWedding222 🤍

We can't wait to share our special day with you!
